Gerard (Gerry) Paul was born on January 24, 1942, in Loon Lake, Sk. He was the first child born to Leo and Blanche Paul.
Gerry grew up on the family farm South West of Makwa and attended Deer School and Makwa School.
Gerry married Marjory Graham on June 29, 1968, they raised three children, Darryl (1969), Blaine (1971) and Michelle (1976) on the family farm.
Gerry enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, golfing, curling and being a member of the Makwa Lions club. But his greatest joy in life was his grandchildren.
Gerry was diagnose with a rare form of bladder cancer two years ago. He fought a hard battle, which led to his passing on November 16, 2018 at the Meadow Lake Hospital with his family by his side.
Gerry was predeceased by his father Leo Paul, his brother Lucien Paul, his stepfather Bob Hardy, nephews Renald Graham and Marc Masson, father and mother-in- law Kent and Gladys Graham, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Muriel and Bill Reid and brother-in-law Henry Masson.
Gerry leaves to mourn his loving wife of 50 years Marj, his sons Darryl and Blaine and daughter Michelle (Dale). His grandchildren Jasmin, Kayley and Danasia Paul, Gage, Daimen and Sky Boehler. His mother Blanche Hardy, sisters Georgette Masson and Terry Paul, brother-in-law Jerry (Darlene) Graham and numerous nieces and nephews.
